It shows old files that are no longer in the Books app, and will not show the correct listing of the 13 directories of files that I imported into Books. I created a playlist of these files in iTunes, but the Music app is inadequate to use for playback (no option to speed up the audio). If I try to handle the metadata for the files using the Info command, I cannot change these to 'audio books' in the options menu. I'm not looking for a free program I want something with an intuitive interface that is easy to use and I want to be able to transfer and backup songs by playlist, not just by song. So, I'm looking for alternatives to TouchCopy. TouchCopy's only response was to check and make sure that I was running the latest version of the Windows. My new Dell PC has run perfectly in every way and allows all of my other programs, including iTunes with my iPod recognized, to launch.

However, TouchCopy 16 will no longer launch for me because of 1) something in one of the numerous and infamous Windows updates disabled something that TouchCopy needs to run, or 2) because of something in how my new (one month) Dell Inspiron 3880 with Windows 10 Home is configured. The amount of music and number of files on it is more than I can handle manually, so for the last few years, I've used TouchCopy (TC12,TC16) as my music file and backup manager, and been very happy with the arrangement. I have an old 160G iPod Classic that works fine.
